I read half of this book dorsum in 1999 when I was in High school and I am reading it again. This book is an exellent motivational book. what I learned is that motivation is ane of the most important keys to win and succeed. Everything is about planning and taking information technology to activity, without motivation and without setting up your goals and making a plan you lot cant really accomplish anything or achieve where you desire to be.

Curt, sweet and to the point. I especially liked the emphasis on beingness "intense" about at to the lowest degree 1 thing in your life and the section dedicated to the infectiousness of succeeding. Read information technology in near 2 hours and really liked it. The end is a little dull, only yous can skip the parts that don't apply to you without feeling guilty. If Yous Don't Know Where You're Going, You'll Probably End Upwardly Somewhere Else: Finding a Career and Getting a Life by David P. Campbell was really quite enjoyable. This has probably been my favorite book I've always read so far. The book didn't over exaggerate things or extend the topic longer than they needed to. There was besides illustrations throughout the book once in a while which I enjoyed considering they were simple and cute plus gave me a tiny pause to adore the fine art before flipping to the side by side

There was also illustrations throughout the book once in a while which I enjoyed because they were simple and cute plus gave me a tiny break to admire the art earlier flipping to the next page. I learned quite a few things from it and because of information technology, I'1000 currently working on skills that might assistance me in the hereafter. I would probably recommend this to a immature person to assistance them become started on the path to success.

There were no characters in the book due to the fact that it was an advisory book and then I couldn't accept a favorite or to the lowest degree favorite.

"No 1 likes to experience that their piece of work is worthless…." cited from Page 83. Gratitude is a major thing that about anybody enjoys to hear. It doesn't actually matter the person, praise is always appreciated and when yous receive none, y'all feel that what you've spent your fourth dimension on, was pointless because no i appreciated it like y'all hoped.

The volume'southward point of view is like they're having a conversation with the reader. I enjoyed that they spoke this way considering it made me experience more than impulsed to actually do the things they were maxim since information technology seemed like were my own personal motivator. They use the words: us, your, you lot, our, etc.

I would similar to liken this volume with The Elements of Style (a sign that this is a great book, considering of how much I revere TEoS): it's short plenty and packed with plenty meat that I, a very deadening reader, could consider actually rereading information technology; its advice is complimented by whimsical and funny illustrations; the author knows his stuff (he has a PhD working in career guidance); and the advice in this book will help you succeed in life. I found this book in a pocket-sized used bookshop in Antigua, Republic of guatemala. It is a motivational volume that really put my future aspirations into question. It included tips and guidelines on choosing the all-time path for y'all and how all-time to achieve what you really desire in life and I thoroughly enjoyed reading information technology. It was a quick, easy read which made the volume very appealing. Some of the motivational parts were very general and boring to get through, hence my absence of 5 stars. I would recommend

I found this volume in a small used bookshop in Antigua, Guatemala. Information technology is a motivational volume that really put my future aspirations into question. It included tips and guidelines on choosing the best path for you and how best to achieve what you really want in life and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Information technology was a quick, like shooting fish in a barrel read which made the book very highly-seasoned. Some of the motivational parts were very general and boring to get through, hence my absence of v stars. I would recommend others to read this once in their life!!!

Has some very basic life advice, but aside from being out of date, information technology reads like the author thinks most people are stupid, and honestly, there's meliorate advice, summed upwardly more succinctly, that tin can be read in far fewer minutes, in online social media forums. Very good and informative book. I feel it was more for high school students or college students than for me personally but I still learned a lot and it was an interesting read.

This book changed my life. I read it when I was in my early teens because I found it, somehow, in the residual aisle of the Barnes and Noble Outlet in downtown Boston in the late 1970s. I don't know why I was drawn to it, simply I was. I taught me well-nigh planning, nearly being serious, about focus, and it followed me throughout life. This book changed my life. Nothing revolutionary here. The information Campbell presents and the questions he has you lot ask yourself are old and well known. But he's got them all in one place, and in the right order. I recommend this for anyone who's trying to figure out where she's going, or to anyone who'southward realized that he's somewhere else. Naught revolutionary here.
