Speaking of plants, bringing the outside in with plants is important too. We planted Bougainvillea on the patio outside the living area, and nosotros hung art to bring that fuchsia color correct inside. Love our "Bougies"! These cacti? Walmart and Dwelling house Depot. They ever seem to have a pretty good selection and good prices on the smaller cacti! The cute fiddling white modern pots come in a set of three from 'CB2', for less than $15!
#iv – Mid Century Mod Decor ideas – Bring the "flavor".
If you actually want a Palm Springs style pattern, and then mid Century modern decor is a must . Even if your homes' compages isn't MCM, no biggie. The fun touches of whimsy with MCM decor will work with any mode. Just alloy it with a more than mod background for the desert home look! The bluish "bullet" planter is kind of a feature decor piece that simply screams Hollywood resort style, 1960. Steve picked up the mid century ceramic cats and the blueish tray at a local vintage market place.
All the photographs on canvas were taken past Steve, right here in Palm Springs, of some of the famous PS instagram spots around boondocks. 'Limitless Walls' took the photos and printed them on wrapped canvas, and we have one in nearly every room of the house! This tip is an easy one… take some colorful, abstract style photos, and have them printed into large art. The bigger the better. Colorful Palm Springs Style Guest Room
We wanted our guest room here in Palm Springs to have an Airbnb kinda feel, then our guests would feel similar they were on vacation. ( Information technology is Palm Springs, after all!) But you can practise this no matter where you live! Don't your guests deserve to feel that mode? This room has lots of color, a piddling Boho desert flavor, another super soft rug from 'Well Woven', and inexpensive accents. Once again, the big, colorful wall art grounds the room with a fun experience. The cactus pillow is an easy DIY (lookout man for the tutorial) and the throw pillow covers echo the colors of the fine art.
Another touch on of Boho desert mod decor is the serape blanket at the foot of the bed, and it contrasts amazingly with the velvet quilt. Notice the quilt and the area carpet are softer colors, and nosotros let the art and accessories exist the stars of the room.
